The community breakfast was held at the fire hall on Saturday morning. Approximately 100 family members and friends gathered to honor Mrs. Mabel Lillard for her 75 years of faithfulness to the community. The breakfast was sponsored by the Flint Hill Methodist Church.
Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Dodson of Staunton and Mrs. Barbara Gentry attended a funeral service at the National Cemetery in Arlington with military honors for Mrs. Lula Gentry Clemens on Wednesday.
Harlen and Ann Jones of Clermon.t, Fla. are spending sometime among family members in the area.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Proper of Dickerson, Md. were Sunday visitors of the latter’s grandmother, Mrs. Barbara Gentry.
The Flint Hill Baptist Church will have worship service on Sunday, Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. The pastor, Robert Goff will deliver the message.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church has worship service each Sunday at 8:45 a.m.
