All items for publication in the Thursday, Jan. 1 edition should be submitted no later than Friday, Dec. 26. • All Rappahannock County government offices will be closed Thursday, Jan. 1 and Friday, Jan. 2. They will reopen on Monday, Jan. 5. • All Department of Motor Vehicles customer service centers will be dosed on Thursday, Jan. 1 and Friday, Jan. 2. They will reopen Saturday, Jan. 3. • The Rappahannock National Bank will dose at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31 and reopen on Friday, Jan. 2. • Rappahannock County public schools will reopen for students on Monday, Jan. 5. The School Board and each of the school offices will reopen for business on Friday, Jan. 2.
