It is a high school tradition to have a pep rally during Homecoming Week. The pep rally for the 2003 Homecoming had a little bit different beginning. The nor: mal celebrations of athletics and fun were pre-empted by a celebration of academic excellence.
Roger Mello, Rappahannock County High School principal, presented 50 plaques to the Rappahannock Scholars recently. Rappahannock Scholars are 10th-12th graders who appear on the year-end A-B Honor Roll and miss no more than 10 days of school.
