This season has been tough. There is a lot of illness amongst us. Many of us have experienced some degree of the flu or bronchitis. Please keep those who are sick in your prayers.
Our fabulous, dedicated, rural mail carrier, Karen Breeding, will soon be traveling to Richlands, Va., to visit her mother, Mary Barton, who is very ill with congestive heart failure. Ms. Barton is at the Clinch Valley Hospital in Richlands. Karen has asked that we keep her and her family in our prayers.
Please be patient with those trying to cover for her on the job so that she can go to be with her mom and family. It means a lot to her.
Linda Fors, the terrific secretary of the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church (MLBC), is still struggling with some type of a flu bug. She has started to lose her voice. Please pray for her .
