I have some comments about the reasons given by members of the Board of Supervisors for paving more of Grimsley Road in the front page story 6f the Dec. 18 Rappahannock News.
First, Grimsley Road is an area which is “prime real estate and it will be developed.” This phrasing suggests that Grimsley Road is going to have a “housing development,” an industrial park or a shopping center in the near future.
I do not think that any of these possibilities are consistent with the current zoning ordinances, the county Comprehensive Plan or the Rural Rustic Roads program. I think that Grimsley Road would be considered for “devel
