The problem, of course, with horses that come from behind is that they have to find a good trip through all the traffic. One horse stopping in their path as they rally can spell the difference between winning and finishing nowhere. Jazil is a colt to give a hard look at on Derby Day. He may not be the best horse, hut he may be best that afternoon, and that’s all that counts at the windows.
So that’s a look at die possible field. Making predictions this far out, when one doesn’t know post position or track condition is an iffy proposition at best Still, I’d bet real money that one of these colts will find itself wreathed in the blanket of roses following the Derby (which follows the Gold Gup, you know.)
