Heaven’s gate?

Mortals often wonder about is—you know, the horses, after Ye’re gone from the Earth, jood news: We’re all up here, wen cry -babies like old Gallant Vfan who still won’t shut up about his bad luck back in ‘57.

Days are spent with our legs n cool streams, muzzles in deep pririg grass, broad backs to the iun. Nights are spent in sweet, straw-lined stalls, snug in the lark embrace of an oaken stable.

We visit mi Earth, too. You may not realize it Consider this: Have you ever noticed how still a single horse sometimes stands, peering hard off into the distance? Perhaps there’s a herd of horses grazing peacefully nearby, but one, one single horse, can’t stop staring, off on his own, head up, ears perked, flank a-quiver.

The horse seems entranced by something, something you can’t quite see.

Take another look. Let your eyes go soft and peer into the distance. It’s just me and Dad your horse is looking at Oh, and Wink is right here, too, with us to the end.
