Public Hearing/Notice The RRCSB-AAA Culpeper, Virginia provides transportation services for elderly and disabled individuals within Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock Counties. These services transport individuals to and from rehabilitation programs, outpatient services, meal programs and other services operated by the RRCSB-AAA and private providers. Funds are being requested from the Commonwealth of Virginia to purchase six, 14-passenger wheelchair lift vehicles through the FTA Section 5310 Program. These vehicles will be used to transport wheelchair and ambulatory participants to and from residential, day support and senior nutrition programs. We invite any interested public or private transit or paratransit operator within the Planning District 9 area to comment on the proposed services by sending a written notice bv February 1, 2007 to Mr. Neil Sherman, Department of Rail and Public Transportation, P. O. Box 590, Richmond, Virginia 23219-0590 and to the attention of the Executive Director, RRCSB-AAA, P. O. Box 1568, Culpeper, Virginia 22701. Comments can also be made at the public hearing planned for January 9, 2007 at 1:00 P. M. at the main office of the RRCSBAAA, 15361 Bradford Road, Culpeper, Virginia. A copy of the application is available for inspection at 15361 Bradford Road, Culpeper, Virginia. Comments made at the public hearing and submitted in writing will become part of the application.
