Residential Counselor
Regular, part-time position with Department of Mental Health/Mental Retardation/ Substance Abuse Services, Mental Retardation Division to provide services in a variety of community settings. Position provides assistance and training with daily living activities in the homes of disabled individuals. Emphasis placed on community integration, individual preference and facilitation of new experiences for consumers. Requires education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in psychology, Special Education, Social Work or related field. Six months related experience preferred. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of criminal background check, TB Test, driving record check and a valid driver's license in Virginia or regional state of residence.
