PSYCHIATRIC NURSE
Position to provide advanced clinical and psychiatric nursing services to adults with serious mental illness or co-occurring serious mental illness and substance abuse in various Mental Health Residential Services programs through out Loudoun County. Responsibilities include assessment and treatment planning, case management, medication administration, training of residential staff, coordinating with other department staff, and providing interagency coordination activities. Work schedule may require day, evening or weekend hours. Requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing and three years of experience in community-based mental health services. Five year of related experience preferred. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia. Certified as Psychiatric Nurse or eligible for certification. Requires transporting clients in program vehicles. Employment is contingent upon criminal background check, driving record check and a valid driver's license in Virginia or resional state of residence and TB test.
