LeAnn McCusker knows therf's mush more to health and fitness than treadmills and dumbbells As the director of Fauquier Hospital's new LIFE Center, she knows it's more about educating people, making them feel comfortable, and helping them reach their goals
'Exercising doesn't have to be intimidating," LeAnn says. "I just heard from a client who was inactive for years, but thanks to our pool therapy class, she's active again With the expertise of our stafl and our equipment, we can help anyone achieve a healthier lifestyle."
As the director of the LIFE Center, LeAnn oversees cardiac and pulmonary rehab, diabetes education, massage therapy and the employee wellness program She's especially excited about a new class the LIEF. Center is offering for overweight children and their parents. "For us, it's not just about treating people when they arc sick We also care about maintaining die health of the people in our community"
