Warner has Rappahannock connections, including her time working as a legal secretary in the real estate section of Doug Baumgardner's law office on Main Street in Washington.
Close said the reason for the dismissing those charges was the court's March ruling, which threw out key evidence from the prosecution. The case was scheduled to go to trial on Sept. 29.
