Paul served on numerous boards of directors of major corporations and was well know for his extensive philanthropic endeavors. He founded the East House Foundation for the mentally ill in Rochester. He served on the Educational Foundation Board of Directors of Lord Fairfax Community College and donated to the college the Paul Wolk Library on Middletown Campus and the Wolk Hall on the Warrenton campus. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Child Care and Learning Center in Rappahannock County. Virginia, and participated in the Men's Lunch Club at the Flint Hill Public House.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be accepted in Paul's name for East House Corporation. 1701 Lac dc Ville Blvd.. Rochester. New York 14618 or to the Piedmont Environmental Council or the National Parkinson Foundation or to a chanty of the donor's choice. A celebration of Paul's life is planned at the Wolk Farm, The Dell, in Hume at a later date.
