Jenny Stone, the “Head Food Nut.“ of Washington doesn’t have any foncy chef diplomas to her name but she does huve accreditations from the School of her Mom and Crandma! She grew up in an Italian family, trained bv two fantastic cooks. She has a passion for food in all its glorious forms!
Jenny, who lives on Piedmont Avenue, spent 'J5 years exploring every culture of food thut she could get her spoon into and Id years learning how to feed the hungry masses (her two sonsf. She believes that food should be tasty, healthy, beautiful and sensible to your budget.
Stone Soup is her way of being able to cook for the masses and deliver the same quality that always brought guests back to her table again and again.
Her summer menu is designed for light summer foods. grilling events, packed picnic inches, and hearty but not heavy foods. She especially recommends her Mandarin Fraise Custard; she always has to make extra and it's the dessert that her customers have told her that they actually licked the cups!
