July 10: Farm Show
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the Culpeper-Madison-Rapptfiannock (CMR) Farm Show this summer, from July to to July 14 at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises on Route 29 in Culpeper. Guests can tour the bams and see 4-H members prepare their animals for the 4-H livestock straw and sale. Animats include swine, beef, poultry, goat, sheep and more. There are also many family-friendly activities scheduled, such as the cookie eating contest, cupcake decorating, the petting zoo. and enjoying the Little Mr. and Ms. CMR contest.
Children and adults who would like to be more involved in the Farm Show should enter an item in the Homemakers' building. Entries can include scrapbooks, vegetables, flowers, canned goods, pound cakes, woodcrafts, painting, photos and even chiffon cakes. Everyone can find something to enter.
