Sherri is well known in the county as the queen of the 2003 and 2005 Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad Miss Rappahannock Pageants and was only one of 30 women accepted in the Miss VA-USA Pageant in October 2007. Sherri and her receptionist, Tara Craft, who share many common interests and are frequent participants in beauty pageants, met when Sherri served as the pageant consultant for Tara’s daughter, Madyson Gibson, age 7. Madyson and Sherri were participants together in Miss Northern Virginia Pageant on June 21 where Sherri was awarded first runner up and most photogenic, while Madyson won the title of Young Miss Northern Virginia.
Now the shared interests between Sherri and Thra will take on another dimension. Tara will begin cosmetology school in the fall and will return to work
