Chester Gap Fire Department and Rescue Squad will hold their annual carnival on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 3, 4. 5 and 6th with a gay slate of activities planned. Climaxing the four fun filled and exciting nights will he the awarding of prizes Saturday Grand prize, $25 cash.
Mrs. Ann Cannon Thornhill was crowned Miss (in this case Mrs.) Washington School for Secretaries during commencement exercise's held Friday at the Mayflower Hotel. Mrs. Thornhill also receivt*d the ideal Secretary Award and was named most outstanding student of 1968, She also had a perfect attendance record. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray T. Cannon of Castleton.
