We welcome this well established business to Sperryville and wish these two young women good luck in continuing to grow with our community. At the Rappahannock County Elementary School awards ceremony, Charles “CJ” Campbell received not only a perfect attendance award, but also an Emily Hilscher scholarship for Belle Meade camp this summer. Mary Ann Jenkins, that hard working single mom who lives above the Thornton River Grille and who many of you know as an excellent cook at the restaurant, called me bursting with pride about her son, CJ. Teacher Amy Wayland nominated CJ for this award because he is kind and ready to learn every day. Like Emily who attended the camp, CJ also loves the outdoors. Congratulations CJ!
