Jason Jenkins, a 2006 graduate of Rappahannock County High School, was named to the Dean’s List at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va., for the fall 2008 semester. Jason is a junior majoring in political science and government.
He is the son of Jeff and Rhonda Jenkins of Washington.

Kevin Fernandez, son of Gary and Filomena Fernandez of Huntly, received the Coach’s Award for his contributions to the Randolph-Macon Academy varsity cheerleading team during the 2008-09 winter season. Kevin is a sophomore at the academy which is located in Front Royal.
