Trout fishermen were out in great numbers Saturday for the opening of the trout fishing season which began at noon. According to Game Warden Irvin Kenyon, Jr., this was the largest turnout of sportsmen for several years. Families combined picnicking, fishing and hiking for a relaxing day together. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lillard of Rapidan were among the people completing the adult education classes held recently at Rappahannock County High School. The Lillards were enrolled in carving classes and were very apt students as can be ascertained from the many items large and small which they crafted. Mr. and Mrs. Lillard joined their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Poling of Amissville for the classes.
