Several churches in Rappahannock County will hold sunrise services on Easter Sunday, April 12.
The Woodville, Amissville, Reynolds Memorial and Forest Grove Baptist churches will hold a service on Red Oak Mountain at 6 a.m. Watch for the Red Oak Mountain street sign as you enter Woodville on your left coming from Sperryville on Route 522.
Trinity Episcopal Church will hold a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m., on Massie’s Mountain. From Washington, turn left on Harris Hollow Road to Route 654 and make another left. Refreshments will follow.
Flint Hill United Methodist Church will hold a service at 6:30 a.m. on the farm of Richard and Esther Settle on Jericho Road. A breakfast is open to the public afterwards at the Flint Hill Fire Department. Spring on the way
As I was taking my daily walk around town on Sunday afternoon, I noticed that The Inn at Little Washington was beautifully decorated with pink hydrangeas at the front entrance.
