After a long absence, the jazz guitar duo of Frank Vignola and Gene Bertoncini returns to the Theatre at Washington, Virginia to perform a concert Saturday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m.

Each of the musicians is individually popular with the Theatre’s audience and, together, their concert appears headed for a sell out.

The guitarists gather plaudits from the press wherever they travel: Mike Joyce, writing in The Washington Post, about a Blues Alley concert on one of Bertoncmi’s “all too infrequent visits to town" noted that he “combined great artistry with good humor, moving from the sublime I pieces by Bach, Chopin, Jobim, Billy Strayhom, Richard Rodgers and Hoagy Carmichael I to the ridiculous (jokes plenty) and back
