Quite a number of our area folks attended the “Chili Cook Off” and “Apple Pie Contest” at Rappahannaock High School on Sunday.
Our prayers go out to a Woodville friend, Mrs. Geneva Burke who had the misfortune to fall in her home and break her ankle. Surgery followed. She is now a patient at Culpeper Health and Rehab Center.
Saturday, Mrs. Aldeen Hitt, a resident at Jackson House was given a surprise birthday party by her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Jenkins at Hope Hill Baptist Church. She is 89 years young.
Robert Berrey has returned home after several weeks in Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville. Prayers on his behalf are requested.
