Morris Smith, Jr. Added To Faculty; Schools Open Monday A new faculty member will be at Farmville High School when public schools reopen Monday morning. Morris G. Smith. Jr . has been added as teacher or Industrial Arts. Supt. T. J. Mc Ilwnin* announced today. Mr. Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Smith, of Farmville, grad uated at VPI in 1951. Since then he has been associated with Met ropolitan Life Insurance Com pany here. He is married to the former Miss Beanie Dudley. Supt. Mcllwainc said that work is progressing rapidly at the new R. R. Moton High School, with t.hc major concrete foundation work completed, as well as much of the first floor slab. Work is continuing there whenever wea ther permits. Both Longwood and Hampdcn Sydney colleges will reopen Mon day morning for the usual sche dule, also. YOUTH MEET TONIGHT Farmville District Methodist Youth will hold a rally tonight • Thursday* in Jarman Hall bo gining at 7:30.
