Dillwyn Rt. 1 Halmon Pulliam, of Warrenton, spent Christmas with the John Taylor family ana hunted. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Carter, of Bedford, Va.. visited Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Taylor during Christ mas. They were over night guests with Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Shu maker, also. John Edd Taylor shot a turkey, and Emmett Shumaker got a large buck during Christmas hunting. Mr. and Mrs. S. N. Agee enjoy ed having all their children home at Christmas. Alford Agee, of North Carolina., was home, too. Mrs. W. W. Taylor. Mrs. Ray mond Carter, and Mrs. Emmett Shumaker visited in Buckingham. Saturday. Back From Service Mr. and Mrs. Sam Taylor and son. Misses Alma and Lillian, of Richmond, visited Mr. and Mrs. George Taylor. Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor were happy to have their son, George, home for Christmas. He has been in the service. Anne Charlton is spending the holidays at her home here. Mrs. Edgar Charlton. Anne and Cpottswood, were guests of Mrs. Charlton's sisters, Mrs. S. C. Hatcher and Miss Paulett John son. of Ashland, oi\ Christmas Day. Edgar Charlton, Jr., and family, of Pratt. W. Va., arrived _Sunday fo/a visit with his parents Miss L. E. Maxey and Aubrey Maxcy were dinnpr guests Satur day of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Charl ton. Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Fields, of Richmond, called to see her cousin, Mrs. Edgar Charlton en loute from visiting Mr. Field's people in Russell county on Sun day. Other visitors in the same home Sunday were Mrs. Hatcher. Miss Paulett Johnson and Mrs. P. E. Charlton. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Taylor and Miss Minnie Taylor visited Mrs. Carolyn Miller, of Sehyler, Sun day. ■Mr. Hanes Visits Friends at Hanes Chapel were proud to have one of their old lriend's bark home Sunday at church. Mr. Hanes. Mrs. J. G. Gary and Clinton were missed by all members at church Sunday. All hope to sec them back soon. All here seem to have had a nice Christmas. The children wished for snow .
