Trents Mill Tiie Rev. Mr. Whalev preached a very splendid New Year's ser mon. Dec. 28. New officers and teachers of tiie Sunday school will commence their duties for the New Year. Jan. 4. Recent visitors in tiie Jones home weer Mr. and Mrs. H. R Wilkinson, from Farniville. and Mr. and Mrs Morris Keller and Mrs. Annie E. Miner and son, Elon. from Richmond. Buddy Keller, who has been stationed in Germans, is at home on a furlough. Children and grandchildren of Mrs. W. J. Keller were visitors in her home, last Friday night. Mrs. Clarence Brown and daughters were visitors in the same home. Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Jones and Mrs. Ann James called in the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Own Ly. Sunday evening. They found Mr. Ownby is improving steadily. Mr. and Mrs. Eari Ownby visit ed Mrs. Ownby s hi oi lier and family in Petersburg. Sunday.
