Guinea Mills Dot Goodman had a small growth removed from her eyelid Monday morning at Southsidc Hospital. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. .T. M Putney on Christmas day were Mr. and Mrs. H. K Selfield and Mrs. Mabie Yarns, ol Richmond. Mr. and Mrs. George Putney and Carolyn^Putney, of Crewe, and Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Dowdy. Claire and Cliff Dowdy, of Calra. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Boykin and children, of Richmond, are spend ing several days this week with Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Putney. During the Christmas holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Walker visited relatives and friends in Charlottesville. Washington, and in Pennsylvania. Recent dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Goodman were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Holger. of Petersburg, and Mi. and Mrs. Dick Vaughan and son. of Farm v'llo.
