Christmas has come and gone, and another New Year

Christmas has come and gone, and another New Year is here. We are indeed grateful for the many blessings that have been ours in 1952. as a nation, as individuals. May we resolve to make the most of our opportunities in 1953, to be gin to really live. All too often we wait for a future that never comes. As the poet has expressed it. "We are always getting ready to'live, but never living”—Ralph Waldo Emerson. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pearcy, of Montgomery. W. Va.. spent the Christmas holidays with their parents here Peggy Shupe, of Tazewell, spent the past week end in the C W. Cave home. Mrs. Maude A.
