Sunday Will Begin J C Methodist Revival Visiting Ministers | Will Come In April Prayer Covenant Day will be observed in the Farmville Meth odist Church Sunday. Jan. 4. in preparation for the Methodist United Evangelistic Mission, which will be held m the 1184 churches in the Virginia Confer ence. April 17-24. Methodist peo ple will be called upon to pray daily, at 6 p. m.. for the bishop, pastors, and leaders in the evan gelistic mission: for those who are not professing Christians: and for individuals upon the prayer list. This is the beginning of a re vival. consisting of preaching services and visitation which will be held in the Methodist churches of the Virginia Conference in April, when the pastors of the Western North Carolina. Confer ence will come into the Virginia churches to preach and lead the visitation evangelism. This is a part of the Methodist United Evangelistic Mission, which will be conducted in the Southeastern Jurisdiction of the church, covering the States (Ken tucky. Tennessee. Virginia, North Carolina. South Carolina. Geor gia, Florida. Alabama. Mississip pi' and Cuba. Preaching services will be held in one half of these churches. April 17-24. and in the other half. May 15-24. The pas tors in these two divisions will exchange their services, helping each other. Participating in the ' entire mission will be eight Epis copal Areas. 16 Annual Confer ences. 141 Districts. 12,173 Churches and 5218 pastors. The presiding bishop of the Richmond area. Paul Neff Garber, is calling upon every pastor in the Virginia Conference to preach on prayer, and to load his people in making their Prayer Covenant, Sunday.
