V Webster last week Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Self have received a message from their son. Walter, of his safe arrival in Tokyo. Holman Self is critically ill in a Charlottesville hospital. Rev. R. L. Jones, of Dolphin, viisted friends here last week Mrs. Hav Norvell leaves this week for an extended visit to liei sister, in Abingdon. Va. Mr. and Mrs. J. H Self visited her sister. Mrs. Theo Southwards, near Columbia, last Sunday Mrs. Southward's husband is a patient m a Charlottesville hospital. Col. Glassburn. of Millbrook Farm, who has been ill. is now bet ter.
