Charlton, Dillwyn Miller, Dies A funeral service for William James Charlton, 75. retired mil ler. of Dillwyn. was held Wednes day afternoon at Dunkum Bro thers Funeral Home in Dillwyn Burial took place in the cemetery of Hanes Chapel Methodist Church. Mr Charlton died Sunday. Feb 1 Survivors include two sons, Wil liam R.. ol Charlottesville, and Frank Lawrence Charlton, with the Army at Fort Lee: six daugh ters. Mrs Charlie Allen, of Faber, Mrs Shirley Spencer, and the Misses Jean and Joyce Charlton, of Dillwyn: Mrs. James Johnson, ot Portsmouth and Mrs. Paul Stage, of Richmond; three sisters. Mrs R. R. Spencer and Mrs. Annie Pearson, of Dillwyn. and Mrs. Harry Wright, of Roanoke; five brothers. K A. and R E . of Dill wyn. Hubert, of Fork Union, the Rev. Weyland Charlton, of North Carolina, and Lawrence Charl ton, of Arkansas; and 12 grand children.
