Cumberland, with the co-operation of their principal, J B Pervall. and other members of the school's faculty, are having ' a rather successful year carrying out. the objectives set up for the school year. Since the Christmas holidays, the NFA chapter ha^ organized its first thrift bank. Purposes for which the thrift bank was set up , are to teach students how to go about saving, depositing and with drawing money from the bank: to teach students the importance of long time investment in a savings program: to teach students how their banking accounts can fin ance their projects: and to en courage regular systematic sav ings.
