Virginia Street Wednesday af teinojn. Joseph Lonskey, who works at Craddock-Terry Shoe Company, left a coffee pot on the stove when he went to work Wed nesday. The pot melted and the grounds burned, causing a lot of smoke. Since the door to his room was lock; d. firemen were called. Chief Butcher was the first on the scene and he knocked the door in and quickly had the fire under control—too late for a cup of coffee, however. The building belongs to R F Cralle.
