Social Workers Ieet in Roanoke •Let Virginians Know" is the ,eme of the Virginia Conference of Social Workers convention be ing held this week in Roanoke. Mrs. Frances O Moon and Mrs. Freya Vaughan, of the Prince Ed ward county health department, are representing this area at, the conference. Mrs. Moon, as a dis trict president, took part in the annual board meeting Tuesday and the business session Thurs day. The district submitted a scrap book for judging in the confer ence contest. Evelyn Hochart, a Worsham High School senior, did the art work. Thjs district also submitted the name of Judge Emerson Baugh for the conference citizenship award. Winners in both contests were to be announced at the con vention. The district recently completed i membership drive, in which it went over the top with 22 new memberships and 2 re-activated ones. Miss Anita Wood. Dam ille case worker, was membership chairman.
