Forty churches were represented at the 133rd annual session

Forty churches were represented at the 133rd annual session of Appo mattox Baptist Association last Wednesday at Brookneal. The vari ous gdi-sts a n d representatives la ai d reports on foreign, home and state missions, the Brotherhood, evangelism, temperance and social service, relief and annuity work. Officers of the Association are Morris G Smith, moderator: G. L Haley, clerk and treasurer; and D. C Morris, auditor. Each of the subjects was pre sented by tiie association chairmen and they intorduced a speaker on the subject. Rev Ira B. L Euring. of Rich mond. reported that the Virginia Baptists have been rather slow in oreaniing a Brotherhood, with only a few churches in the state having such an organization. Tlie Rev.
