Funeral Services For David Wray Merchant Thursday Afternoon Funeral services for David Wray Merchant, eight-year-old-son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas D. Merchant, of Mt. Vinco, Buckingham county, were held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Mulberry Grove Baptist Church in Buckingham Interment was in Pine Grove Presbyterian Church cemetery in Amelia The Rev Ernest Harris conducted the services. The youth died Tuesday night at the Southside Community Hospital. He was fatally injured Monday | about 6:30 p.m. when he was struck ■ by a car near his home. The car was driven by Henry Wright, Jr David Wray Merchant was a third grade student at Buckingham Elementary School. He was born in California August 14. 1948, and moved to Buckingham with his par ents. who began operation of a store at Mt. Vinco. three years ago. Besides his parents he is«survived by one brother. Alton Merchant, and his maternal grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Ashman, of Amelia county. Throck Services at Douglas Presbyterian church will be conducted at 11 a.m. April 28 by Dr. Frank Bell.
