Mrs. J. S. Harwood Dies at Richmond; Rites Held Tuesday Funeral services for Mrs. J. : Shelton Harwood, mother of John ! E. Harwood, of Farmville. who died Sunday. April 21. at a Rich mond hospital, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Chris tian Funeral Home. Richmond. Interment was at Grafton in York County. Widowed, she had resided in Richmond at 1506 West Avenue. Survivors include a second son. Wallace S. Harwood, of .Rich mond, a sister, Mrs. Alfred Smith, of Hampton, and a brother, Elliott : Smith, of Florida: six grandchil dren and one great grandchild. Moose Dance April 27 Pat Partridge and his orchestra will provide the music at a dance Saturday night at the Farmville Moose Lodge The dance, for Moose members and their guests, will start at 9 pan. Mr and Mrs. Ernest Puckett visited his parents at Sprout Springs last week end. Mr. and Mrs. Murphy, of Ham ilton. Canada, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. B Stonnell for the Easter holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Dawson were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Martin Easter. Many others were there too.
