Mrs. S. \. Garrett, Si, Buried in Buckingham Funeral services were held Tuesday at Chestnut Grove Bap tist church for Mrs. Mattie Ehz-j abetii Garrett, 84. who died Sun day at the home of her daughter. Mrs. J. C. Parks, in Newport News. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Garrett and her husband, the late S. A. Garrett, donated the land on which the church is built. She is survived by two other daughters. Mrs. L. H. Edmondson, of Portsmouth, and Mrs. -Elton Horne, of Smithfield: six sons. C. T. Garrett, of San Francisco, Calif.. A N Garrett, of Williams burg, S.
