Your county agent will accompany C. C. Zinn, manager of Dolmont Farm to an inspection visit of Adams Plantation, near Lynchburg on Thursday, December 15 to look over the Angus bulls. Mr. Adams reports .having several, head from 18 to 24 months of age priced at $300.00 up. Many persons will recall that ten bulls were purchased by Rappahannock farmers from this herd in the past and reports are they have proven most satisfactory. Anyone interested in a bull and would like to accompany iu« let me know.
B. Dolph, owner of Dolmont has increased the else of his Angus Breeding herd to 160 odd head. Isaac Parrish, who purchased the Browning farm near Estes a few years ago, has increased the size of his Angus herd through the purchase of a nice lot of cows from a Culpeper farmer. 'Both of these men have. also made purchase of good registered sires: the former, a bull from Le Barron and a Berkshire boar from Street, Maryland, while Mr. Parrish purchased a nice young bull from Charlie Tinsley, of Culpeper.

The Baby Beef project seems to be growing in popularity among Rappahannock 4 - H members. John Turner and Carlyle Lea reported recently their dads were looking for "a Calf for. them to put on feed. Calves purchased by Newbill Miller rfnld Bbbby Aitkins at our October Calf sale are doing nicely and are now on full feed of a ration consisting of 500 lbs. cracked yellow corn, 200 !b of whole oats and 100 lb of linseed meal. Drop by and see these calves, however be careful of your smokes and don’t disturb the calves.
