He referred to the Annual election of a committee of three farmers in each of the five communities of this county, to take place Thursday, December 15. At the same time, a delegate will be chosen to meet with other community delegate^ the ne*t day to name a county committee of three, ' “Farmers are faced with the necessity of adapting their operations to chahging conditions," the chairman said, “and a great deal of this adjustment will be - accomplished with the help of Federal farm programs which elected farmer committeemen administer. It’s up to the farmer 'to protect his own interests by electing capable representatives."
Mr. Barkhdale estimated that there are about 368 farmers in Rappahannock county who are eligible to vote solely on the basi3 of having participated in the Agricultural Conservation Program. Til addition, any fanner vf*lio was eligible for <!overnment price supports through purchase or loan program.;,. or who held It Federal tCrop Insurance Polficy, may also vote in the election.
Voting places in each community are:
