Inaugural exercises marking the formal installation of G. Tyler Miller as • the third president of Madison college, Harrisonburg, will be held Saturday morning, December 10, at 11 o’clock in Wilson auditorium.
Robert Button, member of the State Board of {“Education, will preside and among those taking part on the program will be Governor William M. Tuck, Dr. M'Ledge Moffatt, Dr. J. Hillis Willis,, Blake T. Newton, The Right Reverend Frederick Goodwin, and The Reverend Conrad Blackwell.
Following Mr. Millers ingugu-/ ral address, a reception ami luncheon for guests will be giv£n at 1:15 o’clock.
G. Tyler Miller, •son of Mrs. John J. Miller and the late Mr. Miller, is a native of Rappahannock and begtan his career in Public education as principal of Washington High School. Ho was superintendent of schools of Warren and Rappahannock counties, superintendent of Charlottesville schools, and State Superintendent of Public Instruction before going to Madison as president.
