George S. Brown h#d been a member of Mt. Mariah Baptist church since 1939 and he arms spoken of as a good citizen, father and friend. He is survived by ten children, 49 grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. The children are: Boyd Brown of Amissviile, George Broarn of Culpeper, Lonza Brown and Beatrice Williams of Remington, Elsie Anderson of Crest Hill, Lottie Rowe of Orleans, Ashton and Gordon Brown and Anna Jefferies of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Deloris Jasper of Washington, D. C.
Those attending the funeral from Washington were Mrs. Havsnna Jefferies, Mrs. Ora Barbour, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bailey, and John Groves.
