Nov. 28
Dear Diary:
Monday morning started with English, it seems we are all having trouble with infinitives, participles, and gerunds. Current Events is not so much trouble, it is more interesting today—we got more questions to look up. Algebra class went on as usual •until someone brought food to _the lunchroom and Mr. Winfrey' had to be out for a while. We ' welcome these ‘‘food-flbringers” for more reasons than one.
Science brought more work on the study of machines—and what girls in our class are bothered about machines? In home room ec it was planning day, as this week tempting odors will fill the upstairs rooms.

Tuesday, Nov. 29
Dear Diary:
We are still having trouble with those infinitives, participles and gerunds. Wonder if they get as tired of us as we do of them. We have a little mqre work to do in Algebra, so it is getting harder. We girls have physical ed and t' e boys have agriculture at Washington, we got off the 6th period because Washington and Sperryville F.F.A. boys had a baskeball game.
