Even though the data cover only one complete and normal grazing season, the conclusion seems unmistakable that segregation and rotation of horses, cattle, and sheep from pasture to pasture is not likely to offer enough advantage over continuous mixed grazing to justify the extra fencing required in order to segregate and rotate. This conclusion is in agreement with the findings of Carrier and Oakley (1941), Semple and Hein (1982) and Comfort tad* Brown (1988).
