Mrs. Fred Schaefer was hostess to the bridge club Thursday even* ing at Sperryville. Prizes were awarded Mrs. C. H. H. Branch, Mrs. John P. Snead, and Mrs. R. M. Menefee. Others' playing were Mrs. Carroll Menefee, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Joseph H. Aylor, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Miss Louise O’Bannon, Mrs. George Taylor, Mrs, John Davis, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Winfrey, Mrs. Charles Estes,'Mrs. W. H. Lyne, Mrs. Lucio Kilby, and Mrs. R. G. Quaintance, After the games refreshments were served by the hostess.

Trinity Episcopal Auxiliary will serve supper July 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. on the lawn at Millermead, home of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller.
