CHURCH NOTICE
Holland Wilkinson of Richmond will be tho guest speaker at the Flint Hill Baptist church Sunday, July 9, at 8 p.m. Mr. Wilkinson conducted services at the church last fall, and he broadcasts over radio station WRVA during the Sunshine Hour every Sundiy morning at 8:05.
The public is cordially invited to attend this service.
The Board of Directors of the Rappahannock National Bank at a regular meeting on July 3, 1950, adopted the following relation.
Whereas: Dr. E. W. Brown has served as a . director of the bank for the past 28 years, and as ' chairman of the Board sipce Jan*
Whereas: Dr, E. W. Brown has been very faithful to the bank and has given unselfishly his time and much valued service; and;
Whereas; the Board of Directors, the Employees and the stock holders are deeply grieved at the loss of such a worthy member. «* Therefore, Be it resolved that "we the Board of Directors have lost an able and efficient member and they and the community as ft whole have suffered the loss of an outstanding citizen.
Be it further directed that a copy of the resolution be sent to Mrs. Elizabeth Eastham Brown, widow of Dr. E. W. Brown,' that • copy be published in the Rap-’ pahannock, News and a copy be placed upon the permanent recROBERT
