Garden Club Tours
Skyline Drive
The October meeting of the Rappahannock Garden Club was an informal tour of the Skyline, conducted by Park Ranger Favour, -who pointed out the unusual views, autumn colors and points of special interest along the drive. The tour ended with a hike near White Oak Canyon. When the group returned to the Pinnacle Picnic grounds a delicious picnic supper was served around a cheerful fire by the hostesses for the day— Mrs. Gilbert Weakley, Mrs. Harry Gallihugh, and Mrs. Joe Yowell.
The chairman for the day was , Mrs. W. G. Pendleton, who was unable to attend, appointed Mrs. Dorothy Davis to interview the conductor of the party and act .as chairman.
W.S.C.S. STUDY CLASS MET WEDNESDAY EVENING

Mrs. Norman Flythe presided and conducted the devdtional opening the meeting with singing (“Faith of Our Fathers”, after which the book “Religion of the Moslems,” was reviewed by Mrs Fred Schaefer, who gave some interesting and inspiring information on the subject. A social hour was spent and refreshments were served by the host society. The meeting closed With a prayer.
