Roberts of Culpeper, in a ceremony at St. James Episcopal church, Richmond, Friday evening, the Rev. Churchill J. Gibson officiating. Miss Elizabeth Parrish, sister of the bride was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Letitia Roberts and Miss Elizabeth Roberts of Culpeper, Miss Elinor*, Page Parrish, Miss Louise Mel-; ville Green, and Miss France* Coleman Nicholson, of Richmond; Miss Ann Vfilmer of Chestertown, Md., Miss Beverly Vanderbilt of West Hartford, and Mrs. Thomas Evans Brittingham, III, of Williafstoiwn, Mass.
Charles Henry S a c k e t V of Lynchburg, was best man. Ushers were Johnston Slaughter and French Slaughter, Jr., of Culpeper, Lockwood Frizzell and David Wood, Jr., of Charlottesville; William A. Haley, III, of Chicago; Lucien D. Burnett, Jr., of Bronxville, N. Y.; Neale Hudgins Oliver and C. Braxton Valentine, Jr., of Richmond. A reception was held at the Commonwealth Club. Mr. and Mrs. Roberts will make their home in Richmond.
