AN UNUSUAL FOX-HUNT

“It started like this: ’ “I was over at Frank*^Armentrout’s Sunday and some men were fox-hunting. They chased the fox on Frank’s land. Frankfs boys and I were in the thouse and thein dog started barking. We went outside to see what was going on.

“The hounds after thl fox went behind the barn and the fox went in front of the barn. A few minutes later the fox was coming through the yard right by us and that fox layed down right on the front porch.

“1 ran to the porch and kicked him off. He tried to get through, the yard fenqe and we threw rocks at him until he got through.

“When he got through, I followed him and one of the boys (E&ward) called the dogs, and they went down through the forest after the fox. Before long4 we heard the fox holler. All of us went down in the woods and one dog was standing over the fox.”
