James Singleton, son .of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Singleton, was taken suddenly ill last week and rushed to the University of Virginia Hospital.
Mrs. R. H. Carder returned to her home near Culpeper Sunday, after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Johnson.
B. R. Cox, who holds a position in Detroit, spent the week end at} his home in Washington.
